The Package: $95,658.04 - $104,654.04 gross per annum (inclusive of market premium) + 10.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2022).

Position Overview: The role of Management Accountant is primarily responsible for maintaining Council’s budget management systems and effective coordination of budget management processes. This will involve monitoring organisational budget performance, preparing financial reporting, performing business analysis and making recommendations to Managers for improved financial performance. This is a critical role in Council’s structure that provides business advice to internal budget managers.
The successful candidate will also provide training and guidance to support users in budget management responsibilities, systems and procedures.
Who we are looking for: Council is seeking a passionate finance professional with tertiary qualifications in accounting and/or commerce with experience in cost benefit analysis, financial planning and budgetary control. The successful candidate will be proficient in communicating and advising various types of stakeholders with strong skills in effective time management to manage various priorities.
