Senior Asset Engineer - Strategy

Combine your experience in asset management with your knowledge of local government infrastructure to join a specialist team managing Council's assets.

You will be responsible for leading a team to develop Council’s Asset Management Maturity . This involves the strategic aspects of asset management (AM) as well as administrating the asset management information system, completing subdivision development design referrals, managing subdivision asset handovers and preparation of Asset Management Policy, Strategy and Plans.

The role reports to the Manager Asset Planning within, an innovative and energetic team that is committed to the sustainable management of Council’s $1B infrastructure portfolio for the benefit of our Community. Asset Planning is responsible for management of the infrastructure network of Shellharbour and shaping the annual $20-30M Capital Works Program.

  • Permanent Full time position, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time 
  • Commencing salary from $91,057.20 - $96,630.56 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus 10.5% superannuation
  • Includes a Leaseback Vehicle with full private use
  • Civil Liability Allowance may be offered to suitable candidates
  • A Market Rate Allowance may be offered to suitable candidates
