North Sydney Council has recently undertaken an extensive review of its organisational framework and as a result, we are creating a new executive leadership team, with an opportunity to join us in the following role:
Director Open Space and Infrastructure
Over the course of the next year, our Executive Team will work closely together to identify opportunities to take North Sydney to a new level. We will realign our structure with strategic priorities and services. We will measure our culture and revisit our values. We will consider opportunities for value creation in what we already do and explore the possibilities outside of this.
A positive attitude and a strategic mindset are critical, with a focus on how ‘we can’ make a difference and be strategic in resourcing brilliant outcomes for the community. We have an awesome team waiting to kick goals with you, open to change and ready to contribute. It is important that you are a leader that will inspire, coach and develop our team to be their best.
Reporting directly to the General Manager the position will require significant experience in leading change at a senior management level. You will be able to demonstrate genuine leadership qualities, strategic management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
