THE OPPORTUNITY

Haulage truck drivers work in the haulage crew with loaders or excavators to win, load, haul and deliver bulk haulage requirements for operations. This includes coordination of timing of activities, skilful operation of specialised equipment and provision of skill for other duties as assigned.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

  • Undertake civil works;
  • Day to day coordination of plant, labour, materials resources for activities; and
  • Drive, operate and undertake plant maintenance as per manufacturers guidelines.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
  • HC Drivers Licence and plant operator competence in Haulage Truck operation including mechanical aptitude;
  • Appropriate work related (civil assets) experience;
  • Basic clerical capabilities, literacy and numeracy;
  • Good customer service and verbal communication skills; and
  • Construction work ticket and Traffic Control tickets (Controller & Implement Traffic Control Plans).
ABOUT YOU

You will be experienced in operating haulage trucks, preferably in an infrastructure setting. Additionally, you will be a good communicator, reliable and punctual.

You will be a team player who continually looks for ways to contribute to positive team culture.

Salary: $60,848 - $70,715 per annum plus superannuation.
