Business (Administration) Support Officer - People & Culture

We need a Business Support Officer to work with the People & Culture Team
for a 3 month full time period commencing asap

35 hr week with a rostered day off each month
Salary from $59,959.12 pa to $69,552.60 pa + 10.5% Superannuation

About the Role:

  • Undertake a variety of Human Resources, Recruitment, Learning and Development and Wellbeing related administrative duties.
  • Liaise with other internal staff on behalf of the Manager and team members.
  • Support team members through the provision of high-quality administrative support to ensure efficient delivery of People and Culture functions

Essential Criteria:
1. Certificate IV in Business Administration or other related discipline, or extensive experience (minimum of five years) in a similar role.
2. Demonstrated high level experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
3. Demonstrated experience in the use of Databases e.g. Electronic Document Management Systems and Quality Safety and Environment Integrated Management System (QSE).
4. Demonstrated experience in administrative support duties.
5. Sound communication (both written and verbal) skills.
6. Previous experience in a role requiring tact and confidentiality.
7.Demonstrated ability to apply attention to detail and accuracy to work tasks.

Desirable Criteria
1. Ability to act intuitively to identify and resolve problems in a positive manner.
2.Ability to manage competing priorities.
3. Ability to understand complex issues and escalate matters where a subject matter expert input will resolve the issue.
