Position Number: Various      Location: Positions available at Bungendore & Queanbeyan


The Package: $72,950.28 - $80,608.32 gross per annum + 10.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 11 of the QPRC Salary System 2022).  


Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flex time conditions may apply.

Position Overview: As a Town Planner, you will be primarily responsible for providing professional advice to Council, the public, developers, government authorities and other staff within the organisation relating to development and land use matters. You will also be preparing informative reports to management relating to planning matters, ensuring Council maintains an efficient development assessment system and following up and actioning customer requests.


Who we are looking for: We are looking for highly motivated individuals, who have a solid understanding of the NSW planning legislation and applying this to development matters. The successful candidates will also a high level of customer service and are able to negotiate, liaise and mediate outcomes with customers. A tertiary qualification in Town Planning or equivalent is essential for this role, and NSW Local Government experience is desirable.
