An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager People and Safety to lead and manage a small team in the delivery of organisational and employee development, strategies and programs including human resource matters, industrial relations, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, workplace consultation, and work health and safety. A key focus for the role will be working in partnership with management and staff to provide specialist advice and support on a broad range of issues and to develop contemporary people initiatives, systems, policies and processes.
The successful applicant will demonstrate contemporary skills across a broad range of people, human resources and industrial relations matters with proven experience in a similar generalist hands-on role. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and continuous improvement skills are essential together with highly developed relationship building and communication skills. The successful applicant may be looking for the next step in their career and will be able to build on their experience in similar multi-disciplinary roles within a supportive, collaborative team environment
