About the role
Reporting to the Supervisor Sportsfields & Golfcourses, you will be responsible for routine maintenance of Council’s open space areas.
Duties
- Weed control and turf maintenance
- Turf cricket wicket preparation
- Rubbish removal and litter pickup
- Park and sportsfield maintenance
Skills & experience
- Experience in horticultural or turf maintenance
- Experience in the operation of tractors and tractor implements
- Experience in line marking sportsfields
- Knowledge of the safe handling of herbicides
- First Aid Certificate
- Chemsmart/Smarttrain
- WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
- MR License
