This position provides:
- support to senior officers carrying out major projects and programs
- assistance in preparing policies and strategies to improve economic outcomes for the City
- implementing activities set out in Council’s operational plan.
The role includes customer service and stakeholder consultation activities by:
- presenting a positive image for Council
- providing verbal and written responses to internal and external enquiries
- liaising with Council staff and external stakeholders
- carrying out community consultation activities
- giving advice to organisations on economic development matters.
- assisting in general monitoring and reporting of project budgets, plans and reporting processes.
This position requires a successful applicant:
- to be tertiary qualified or undertaking tertiary studies
- with ability to work independently, problem-solve and identify practical solutions
- to demonstrate proven skills in workflow coordination and organisational priorities
- working effectively in in multi-disciplinary team
- to demonstrate well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary: commencing at $2907.12 gross per fortnight.
