About the position:
The Business Systems Support Team Lead is a hands-on technical position leading a small team of dedicated and highly-skilled employees. This is a great opportunity to join the team and take ownership of Council's new TechnologyOne OneCouncil Property & Rating system.
Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, the focus of this position is to:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Infrastructure + Land Service Partner team to effectively develop, support, and maintain Property & Rating and Asset information systems.
- Partner with the business to ensure technology solutions are aligned with the strategic and operational goals of Council.
- Manage effective vendor relationships to ensure services are delivered to meet organisational needs.
To be successful in the role, you will have proven leadership skills in a substantial information technology environment, including project, people, financial and operational management skills. You will also have excellent communication skills to engage with our diverse workforce, facilitate workshops, and negotiating with vendors. You'll be calm under pressure, an analytical thinker and have a flair for problem-solving.
