Salary Range: $1,141 - $1,302 per 38 hour week + superannuation

This position is located in the beautiful town of Coonabarabran, known as the Astronomy Capital of Australia, which is midway between Melbourne and Brisbane and is known for its beautiful landscape and stunning night skies. This position is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, operation and emergency repair of water and sewer reticulation, including the provision of safe drinking water in accordance with NSW Health standards and the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines as well as compliance with Council’s Environment Protection Authority (EPA) licences, primarily in the towns of Coonabarabran and Baradine, and villages of Bugaldie and Kenebri.

It is also a requirement of the role to fill in for the Supervisor Warrumbungle Water Reticulation as required.

To be successful in this position you will need hands-on industry experience as a trade-qualified plumber, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team of industry professionals.
