We have an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take on a leadership role as our Coordinator Strategic Asset Management. Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure, the Coordinator Strategic Asset Management is responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing Council's Asset Management Plans, Roads Management Plan, strategies, policies and procedures. This is achieved by leading a team to meet strategic objectives and customer-centred outcomes related to Council infrastructure assets and traffic.
Just some of the key responsibilities of this diverse role include:
- Regularly review infrastructure asset management plans and any related strategic documents and plans for Council infrastructure asset classes, in consultation internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop long-term asset management strategies and long-term financial planning for asset management.
- Manage and maintain Council's asset management system.
- Review, redevelop and manage Council's asset inspection program while managing Council's risk. This will involve managing a team of asset inspectors.
