An unique opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced leader to manage the day to day services and initiatives to fulfil Governance, Compliance, GIPA & PIPPA and other statutory requirements for Council to ensure best practice in efficient and transparent decisions. Experience in a governance, legal or related field with involvement in areas of corporate governance and/or policy development will be pivotal to your success.
You will provide legislative interpretation, policy advice and information to Council officers while maintaining the Corporate Governance Framework.
This role will support the Executive Manager to provide Governance, legal and Councillor services ensuring Council operates and complies with legal and legislative boundaries.

- Permanent full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time
- Commencing salary range from $84,462.04 - $89,632.40 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus 10% superannuation
