About the Role
The role requires the incumbent to support community development, well-being and resilience in the shire through capacity building and the implementation of strategic plans.
The salary for this position is $44,573 p.a. to $51,705 p.a. plus super dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
This role contributes to review, development and implementation of Council's strategies, plans, policies and reports that deliver programs to achieve Arts & Culture portfolio outcomes, including the Southern Highlands ARTS Trail.
You will need to work collaboratively across Council and with service providers and organisations to provide a high level of customer service to the community, internal customer and other stakeholders.
It is vital to explore opportunities for funding of arts and culture projects as well as facilitate/support/participate in Committees, working groups and networks. You will work together with the Community Development team to increase well-being and build capacity across the Shire.
