We are seeking an innovative leader with a strong financial and assets focus that can plan and deliver long term financial health to Council and outstanding service to our community.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is an important member of the Executive Team and reports to the General Manager. You will have responsibility of helping Council maintain its financial sustainability over the short and long term, as well as overseeing the governance area which provides high quality advice and support to Council and Senior Management on matters relating to risk, governance, internal audit, insurance and legal service.
You will promote an organisational-wide understanding of Council’s financial needs and have extensive experience in long term financial planning and budgetary processes along with financial accounting, procurement and contract management.
