In responding to Camden Council's continued rapid growth, Council's dynamic and high-achieving Strategic Planning Branch is expanding. This provides an exciting opportunity for savvy, suitably qualified and experienced Executive Strategic Planners to join the team.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team and reporting to the Team Leader Strategic Planning, you will have the opportunity to lead exciting projects and assist with mentoring of staff. Leveraging off your experience and knowledge of urban release area planning and planning instruments, this role will see you coordinating the delivery of precinct planning in designated growth areas. Using your ability to think strategically, holistically and creatively, this role will also see you coordinating the development and implementation of strategic land use policy to support our growing community.
This exciting new role will also see you coordinating policy actions in Camden's Local Strategic Planning Statement, and the review and development of strategies and planning instruments for the Camden LGA and growth centre precincts. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team developing sound planning outcomes for the Camden community, providing a unique opportunity within one of Australia's fastest growing Councils!
