Oberon Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Human Resources professional to join the team as the Human Resources Manager with a key focus on recruitment and coordination of training.

The position will be responsible for ensuring human resource practices, policies, guidelines and procedures are current, accurate and comply with legislative and other regulatory requirements in line with organisational goals outlined by the Executive team.

The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified in Human Resources, previous experience in a Human Resources Management role (ideally in a Local Government context) and extensive knowledge in ER & IR and conflict resolution skills.

An ability to provide advice at all levels of the organisation, along with the ability to critically analyse information, develop strategies and communicate is essential.
