Oberon Council is seeking a suitably qualified finance professional with a proven track record overseeing the financial management in a Local Government context and previous leadership experience to join the executive team.
This role is a key position responsible for ensuring the operational requirements of the Finance area are meeting regulatory and legislative requirements with a key focus on continuous improvement and maintaining workflow processes.
The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified and/or with 5 years relevant experience, demonstrated experience in end of financial year reporting, budgets and long term financial planning and high level stakeholder engagement skills.
