About the Role:

The Health, Safety & Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Council’s safety, risk and emergency management systems through the development of policies and procedures, incident reporting mechanisms and training.

The role acts as Council’s Municipal Coordinator and is responsible for coordinating Emergency Management planning processes, control of emergency response and recovery operations.

The role provides both strategic and operational advice across the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a qualification in health and safety, workers compensation or emergency management, or a related discipline, with more than 5 years relevant work experience.
