About the role:

The Manager, Community Programs works across the organisation to facilitate key outcomes relating to community facilities and leases, festivals and events, community support and participation, community grants and support, and community consultation and development.  

The Manager, Community Programs provides leadership and oversight to the Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre, including a museum and volunteers.

The Manager, Community Programs will work with a range of community and business organisations and people to design, deliver and support community participation and wellbeing.  A key element of the role will be administering the community grants and events programs.

The successful candidate will bring a creative and innovative approach as well as strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking and influencing skills. Demonstrated experience working in a state or local government environment will be favourably regarded.
