About the role

We are seeking an innovative, commercially minded and results-driven professional to build partner relationships and maximise external investment in the Maryborough Energy Breakthrough.

You will be a natural networker and outstanding communicator, able to build strong, purposeful relationships across corporate, government and community sectors. You will have a creative mind and be able to spot opportunities for programmatic and strategic funding partnerships.

You will work closely with the Manager Tourism, Events and Culture to oversee the growth of Maryborough's annual Energy Breakthrough Festival. In particular, you will conceive and deliver a comprehensive sponsorship management process in support of the Festival, from identification and targeting, through the acquisition of sponsor partners, negotiation of terms, account management and compliance to progress reporting and contract retention.
