It’s an exciting time for local government and we are seeking an energetic and inspiring Divisional Manager to lead our recreation service delivery into the future.

Recreation is a vital part of our community life, with over 200 sporting and recreation groups, 103 parks, 34 playgrounds, 70+ sporting facilities and ovals, 5 skate parks and 83 beaches. 

The Divisional Manager Recreation Services leads the delivery of the Council’s recreation planning function, developing policies and strategies, reviewing statutory plans, policies and guidelines in relation to recreation services, recreation budgets, plans for parks and reserves, planning infrastructure priorities and capital projects, facilities booking service, management of swimming pools and lifeguard contracts.
