The successful applicant will be an experienced or rising star HR professional that brings a passion for the important role our people play in an organisation’s success. Located in the heart of western Queensland, approximately 440kms west of Rockhampton and with a range of stunning natural features and beautiful heritage towns, Barcaldine Council serves 3,500 residents and covers an area of some 54,000 sq km. We are a proud Regional Council focused on delivering quality services to our unique outback community.
The Regional Human Resources Manager will play a major role in building the human capabilities of the Council. This role will provide leadership in the areas of strategic HR planning, organisation development, employee support, industrial relations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management and HR policies, systems and processes.
While you will have ownership of the role you there is an experienced CEO to guide you as you take your place in the Senior Leadership Team. Your goal will be to influence and inspire change and process improvement wherever possible across the Council.
