Seeking experienced outside school hours care (OSHC) educators.
The City of Sydney is committed to creating a family friendly environment. Families with children can choose from a wide range of Council, Government, private and community services including childcare, preschools, playgroups, after school care, school holiday care and schools.
We are a major provider of child care and we are seeking multiple qualified and experienced Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) educators to work across our 6 after-school and vacation care programs. You will be competent in the active supervision and positive behaviour management of children aged 5 -12, and have demonstrated experience running a range of recreational, creative arts and sports activities. The successful candidates will also be flexible, enthusiastic and a supportive team member.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- a Diploma in Outside School Hours Care or equivalent
- experience in an Outside School Hours Care service
- an understanding of the National Quality Framework including The Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the My Time, Our Place Framework
- positive interpersonal and communication skills
- a current Working With Children Check.
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and compliance with Child Protection legislation are essential.
