The Opportunity

As a Labourer in the Water & Sewerage branch, you play an important role in maintaining and repairing water and sewer reticulation assets to ensure their availability for operational and community usage.  In this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team carrying out repairs, maintenance and connections for both water and sewerage.  This position requires you to participate in an on call roster and perform after hours work.

The position in our internal organisational structure is known as Water and Sewerage Reticulation Team Member.

In this role, there will an opportunity to:

  • Operate and maintain specialised equipment and construction plant
  • Repair and maintain infrastructure
  • Ensure the continuous operation of Water and Sewer Reticulation system
 To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering plans
  • General Construction Induction Card
  • General administrative skills demonstrating a competent level of literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills
  • MR licence would be an advantage

Salary: $51,389 - $59,721 per annum plus superannuation
