About the role
This position sits within our Waste Services Department and is responsible for assisting the Team Leader Waste Operations and Sustainability in the landfill operations, transfer station operations, Material Recovery facility, waste collection, litter bin service and associated activities within the Waste Services Department.
We are looking for a friendly proactive person who is able to communicate well with all relevant stakeholders within our community to improve the processes that assist MidCoast Council in caring for our environment. The successful applicant should be flexible and take pride in the work that they do.
- Permanent Full Time, working 35 hours per week
- Commencing salary circa $56,000 p.a. (Grade 6) plus superannuation
- Vehicle arrangements will also be discussed with the successful candidate.
Initially this position will be based from the Taree Administration Centre at 2 Pulteney Street, Taree. In future your normal place of work will be the Council Offices at 2 Biripi Way Taree. When the time comes for you to move to Biripi Way, four weeks’ notice will be provided. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
