Junee Shire Council currently has a Labourer position available for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to work with their Roads Maintenance and Construction team. The position presents an excellent opportunity to pursue a career in the civil construction industry in the local area.
The position would ideally suit a person who is prepared to work outdoors, have good fitness and health, be willing to learn, follow direction, show initiative and responsibility and have a genuine interest in the civil construction industry. Applicants must be either an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
The position is graded in Council’s Salary System, with a salary range of $858.20 to $965.91per week, depending on qualifications, skills and experience. Employment conditions are as per the Local Government (State) Award 2017 and the Junee Shire Council Salary System and include: • 9 day fortnight (38hr week) • Plus 9.5% superannuation A complete medical fitness assessment will be required to be undertaken by the successful applicant.
