About the Role

Council's Organisational Development Branch are seeking an enthusiastic Learning and Development Officer to support, identify and coordinate a range of training initiatives and programs to meet the compliance and development needs of staff. This rewarding position will be responsible for driving Council's annual training calendar and maintain a skills matrix for Council's workforce.

The salary for this position is $59,127p.a - $68,587p.a dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.

About You

In addition to holding a Certificate IV level Qualification and/or extensive 5 years experience in a training administration role, you will have:

  • An ability to evaluate, consider and report on innovative online training solutions and delivery methods.
  • High level organisational planning skills, attention to detail and meet training program targets.
  • High level computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and corporate systems.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and the capacity to resolve issues with a diverse range of people.
  • Current Drivers Licence
