About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available at Wingecarribee Shire Council for an enthusiastic professional in the role of Tree and Vegetation Assessment Officer. This position is responsible for the assessment of applications for the management, preservation and protection of tree assets primarily on private land throughout the Shire.
The salary for this position is $81,065 p.a to $94,036 p.a + 9.5% super dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
In addition to relevant Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated industry experience, you will have the ability to actively balance community safety with retention and maintenance of significant trees and vegetation. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong negotiation and problem solving skills and a commitment to quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
It would be desirable for the Tree and Vegetation Assessment Officer to also hold qualifications or demonstrated experience in Floristics and Endangered Ecological Community management.
