We are seeking the services of a passionate and motivated Director to join with the General Manager and executive leadership team to help to provide the focus, vision and inspiration needed to take the Council to its next level of potential. You will lead and manage the strategic policy direction, planning and delivery of the capital works program, design programs and maintenance programs across key asset classes including, but not limited to, roads, bridges, water, sewer, stormwater and drainage.
You will have many qualities, including inspirational people leadership, a strong commitment to the development of an engaged organisation culture, a commercial approach, well developed relationship skills and a standout passion for service excellence. We have FTE staff team of 534 employees, and a total annual operating budget of approximately $179M and capital budget of approximately $57.2M.
