We operationalise Council's HR processes managing the delivery of recruitment, learning and development and general HR functions and include payroll services across all areas of Council. We work closely with our process owners in the People and Culture branch.

The Role
We are looking for a proactive, hard-working professional, who pride themselves on their detail and have a passionate, customer focussed approach.
Our customers cover the entire organisation across more than 400 different role types, ranging from apprentices, urban planners, business analysts, trade mechanics, project managers, solicitors, accountants, bus operators, executive positions, engineers and communication professionals to name a few. Your ability to source talent across a variety of roles and industries both internal and externally, will be highly valued.

What will you do?
Use recruitment tools and systems, collaborate with your team and hiring managers and prepare sourcing and advertising strategies, aligned to Council’s employee value proposition. Create and facilitate assessment activities and resources and complete administrative activities with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring your work aligns with policy and procedure.
This role will be working in bulk recruitment, meaning you will have a great chance to hone your skills and solidify your learning with a consistent and methodical approach. You may also have the opportunity to work on a variety of end to end recruitment, as well as other placements in line with recruitment policy.
Our team are based at Green Square, in Fortitude Valley and we also work from home, and as required, at other Council locations, learning a variety of roles and collaborating with our people all across Brisbane City Council.
