SALARY: $1,572.53 - 1,802.06 pw + Super

Are you passionate about protecting and enhancing our natural and built environments? Camden Council is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Open Space and Sustainability Support Officer to join our Open Space and Sustainability branch.
About the Role:
This role provides vital administrative and technical support to the Open Space and Sustainability Branch. You'll help drive sustainable solutions, support environmental initiatives, and contribute to the efficient operation of council services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence, work orders, and statistical reports.
- Maintain records, templates, and registers.
- Assist with information gathering for Open Space and Sustainability matters.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial and procurement procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Council's core values.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field or demonstrated experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly developed time management skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities and projects with competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality outcomes
- Proficient in the use of EDMS, suite of MS applications and other corporate systems, i.e. Authority
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration or procurement
- Understanding of Local Government operations, processes, procurement and administrative procedures
