An opportunity exists to kick start your career working in our Infrastructure Services team as a Plant Operator Level 2!
This position's responsibilities and duties vary daily and could include labouring duties and the operation of plant items such as tractors, mowers and rollers. You could also be involved in road construction and maintenance, park and garden maintenance or other projects around our Shire.
This position is a full-time and based from our Tottenham Depot.
To be successful you will need:
- a Drivers Licence
- a Medium Rigid Licence (or willing to obtain within three months)
- Construction Induction Card
- previous experience operating plant items
- knowledge of plant maintenance
- the ability to work with a team
Benefits for you:
- The salary range is $2,086 to $2,243 per fortnight
- Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant.
- The position is Grade 4 within Council's Salary Structure
- 76 working hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)
- Education & training opportunities are available.
- Employer Superannuation of 11.5%
- Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award
