SALARY: $1,296.05 - 1,485.02 pw + Super

A great opportunity to join this busy and supportive Waste and City Presentation Team. This position will provide technical support to the team to deliver a healthy and urban natural environment. Daily challenges will see you resolving service issues, completing waste related projects and providing waste specific advice and assisting in the strategic mapping and planning of the branch. Essential:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or extensive experience working in an administrative support role within a fast pace environment
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications Word, Excel and Outlook
- Effective written communication skills including the production of reports and general correspondence
- Ability to work independently and show initiative and judgment in proposing solutions/solving problems to challenges
- Highly developed time management skills
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, with a focused and responsive approach to managing customer enquiries with sound understanding of customer service principles
- To support and assist in providing guidance to ensure effective learning and development within the branch
Desirable:
- Experience in local government
- Knowledge and experience in waste services
